Lets get high waisted.

purchased these high waisted pants monday. tried em on with this random top found at marshalls for next to nothing! so thrilled its finally friday..excited to go shopping tomorrow.   although i prefer just to shop aimlessly i am actually shopping for something.  looking for a dress. its a special occasion at church and my hubby always offers to buy me a new dress for it. i hope to find a soft maxi similar to this. this is from last years erin fetherston for juicy couture holiday collection.

 Valentine's eve after dinner with my the fam. My parents are so sweet they wanted to spend their V-day as a family and asked us to join them for sushi at our fave place. My hubby, son a I spent our V-day on Sunday. Those pics will follow.. Got festive with it and threw on a burnt red-orange sweater and paired it with a sheer polka dot blouse and topped with some fur..it got sooo chilly tonight and will soon welcome some rain again!

Spring Like.

Photo shoot number 2.. Location was just around our neighborhood. Cherry blossoms are making their presence known and it was my husband's idea to take shots with them.  It was so warm I had to throw on something spring like.. High waisted denim shorts and a floral, flowy cardi thing.. I am so amazed at what a lens can do and of course my husband's camera skills that just keep getting better. I discovered the beauty of Raw images and all the wonderful things you can do to them on Photo Shop as you can see! But there were shots that were so on point they needed nothing. I am loooving that my husband just wants to go every where and take pics! As a surprise he even bought us a family membership through Groupon to the Botanical Gardens in Berkeley so we can take pics for my blog! Sooo sweet! Tomorrow we are going to be in the city celebrating Valentine's at our fave restaurant!

Testing 1-2

First stop before testing out the new camera lens was to file our taxes. After we got that accomplished we had lunch and stopped by a little boutique I love called Sway that was right next to the tax place. Didn't find much this time but did come out with this necklace. I found my boys taking pics at the park across the street. It was a gorgeous day and we wanted to advantage of it and play with camera. So we went to another park by our house and did a second photo shoot. Next post...
